This car adapter plugs into the "Power Outlet or Cigarette Outlet" in your automobile or RV. This will convert the AC charger that comes with your wheelchair into a DC 12V that comes out of your car. This car adapter is also equipped with 2 Smart USB charging ports which automatically detect your mobile devices to deliver a fast charge speed up to 2.4 amps per port/4.8 amps max. This car adapter has a low battery alarm, low battery shutdown, overload protection, short circuit protection with built-in 40 amps fuse & ultra silent cooling fan to protect your wheelchair and car.

The battery is detachable. You can charge it on the battery or on the controller through the charging port.
